Rayed Islam

I've been acting ever since I was a kid. Acting in school plays, making little short films with family and friends, inventing stories and playing characters in them. The imagination and creativity, as well as the ability to explore new characters is why I love acting.

I'm currently based in New York working in film, television, and theater. I have taken classes at American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater, and Endgames Improv, and I've played lead and supporting roles in independent films. I am always excited and open to new opportunities and challenges.

I also love making things. I write, direct, and shoot my own work, mostly sketches, satires, and short films, and I'm building toward narrative features of my own. When I'm not on set, I've usually got a camera in hand or a screenplay I'm trying to finish.
